Our Story
Tom and Aaron started their careers in the golf course industry with over 40 years of combined experience in turf management. Tom worked as the superintendent of three nationally-renowned golf courses, managing projects like a $25 million renovation and an 11-month complete new grow. Aaron worked almost 20 years on golf courses at the highest level. Both partners understand how to draw the best out of a lawn through customized lawn care. There is little room for error on high-end golf courses.
Nature’s View Lawnscapes was born out of a single conversation and the desire to remain in the Upstate of South Carolina. Tom and Aaron partnered to start their own lawn care services company, using their extensive knowledge and experience on golf courses to bring that golf-course green to homeowners and commercial properties.
That background shows up in the way the programs are built. Tom holds a degree in Crops, Soils and Environmental Science with an emphasis in Turfgrass from Virginia Tech, and has partnered with leading researchers and professors from Virginia Tech, Clemson and North Carolina State to source the products we use. Nature’s View is licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina for the commercial application of herbicides, insecticides and fungicides, and works through best-in-class distributors — Harrell’s, Simplot, Corbin Turf and Southern Ag.
For fun, Tom loves snow skiing and going out on the lake. He enjoys watching college football with his family and plays the occasional round of golf. Aaron is passionate about the outdoors and is a frequent marathon runner. Both partners love the Upstate and want to further enrich the area’s natural beauty through lawn management.
