The largest market we serve, on the warm, open Lake Hartwell side.
Anderson is the biggest city we serve and the warmest part of our area — lower in elevation than Oconee and Pickens, more open, and noticeably hotter through the summer.
That tilts the balance decisively toward warm-season turf. A fescue lawn in Anderson is a genuine commitment, and it is a commitment we will support — but we will be straight with you about what an Anderson August asks of it.
Anderson sits lower and further from the escarpment than Salem or Six Mile, and the difference shows up in summer. Warm-season grasses thrive on it. Cool-season fescue spends July and August under real heat stress, which raises both its water requirement and its disease risk — the case for the premium ten-application fescue program, with its three additional summer fungicide applications, is strongest here.
Properties along Hartwell and out toward the county tend to be bigger and more open than the in-town lots, with slope toward the water on the shoreline parcels. On large properties uniform irrigation is rarely practical, so root depth is what carries the turf through the summer — which puts aerification and mowing height ahead of extra product in what actually matters.
Bermuda, Zoysia and Centipede want aerification in the middle of summer, when they are growing hard enough to close the holes quickly. Anderson’s long warm season gives a wider window for this than the higher parts of our area.
Preventive fungicide before the heat, taller mowing height, deep and infrequent watering, and reseeding every fall. Fescue can be kept beautiful in Anderson — it just cannot be kept beautiful passively.

A very knowledgeable staff that you can rely on. The quality of their work mirrors their dedication to their customers.
I had been with a large company servicing my lawn for many years until I caught them “ghosting” my lawn service. I didn’t even know that was a real thing (fake lawn treatments). I found Nature’s View by chance on the way to work one morning from an advertisement on their vehicle. The response was immediate and we entered into a lawn service agreement. In only one season I saw tremendous improvement in my lawn. This is my third year with Nature’s View and the lawn continues to thrive. No crab grass at all this year! That’s a first for me. Thanks Nature’s View for your support and care for my lawn. It’s nice to see the results of integrity and good work ethic.
